Pinionshaft Assembly

The pinion shaft is an alloy steel forging. Herringbone gears on the axles have medium tooth surfaces. To facilitate
maintenance, single row long cylindrical roller bearings without inner ring ribs are used. Due to the extension of the shaft,
pulleys or sprockets can be installed on either side of the shaft.
The blank of the pinion shaft is forged with high-quality alloy and is made by rough machining, heat treatment, finishing and gear hobbing. It is a key part of the power end. Its two ends extend to the outside of the frame and are used to install a large pulley to input power to the mud pump.
