Vacuum Degasser is adapted to get rid of various cut-in gases in drilling fluids. Vacuum degasser is very important for returning mud gravity, stabilizing mud viscosity and reducing drilling cost. Therefore, it works as one type mud cleaning equipment. As it is placed after the shale shaker, so we call it second stage mud cleaning equipment in mud recycling system. At the same time vacuum degasser can be used as a heavy-power agitator. The vacuum degasser has self-suction function, so it doesn’t need the extra transfer pump to feed the mud. After the impurities been removed, the working efficiencies of subsequent centrifugal pump for desander and deilter would be greatly increased.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vacuum degasser for drilling fluids solids control:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Vacuum Degasser is also called mud\/Gas separator. Mud\/gas separators (Degasser) is\u00c2\u00a0 the first units of solids control equipment<\/u><\/span>\u00c2\u00a0arranged to treat drilling mud. As such, they process all of the drilling mud from the flow line before the mud reaches the primary shale shakers<\/u><\/span>. The units have no moving parts and rely on the density difference between the gas and the mud for removal.
