Drawworks is an important part of a drilling rig. Drawworks come in many varieties and can include AC, DC or mechanical operations. The steel cable (drilling line) used in draworks can be used to hoist and lower hundreds of thousands of pounds of weight, including lifting steel pipes out of boreholes. Drawworks also come in a variety of power ratings that can range from 1000 HP to 3000 HP and above.<\/span><\/p>\n

Drawworks<\/strong><\/p>\n

The drawworks can be divided two types, one is for the mechanical drilling rig and the other is for electric drilling rig.<\/p>\n

Features:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1\u00e3\u0080\u0081All bearings are rolling bearings and the shafts are made of alloy steel.<\/p>\n

2\u00e3\u0080\u0081The chains are pressure lubricated.<\/p>\n

3\u00e3\u0080\u0081The drum is grooved. The low-speed & high-speed ends of drum shaft are equipped with a ventilating air tube clutch. The brake rim is water cooled and the surface is medium- frequency induction hardened which provides long service life.<\/p>\n

4\u00e3\u0080\u0081The contours of the sprocket teeth are medium frequency induction hardened. All transmission clutches are of involute spline type.<\/p>\n

5\u00e3\u0080\u0081The drawworks can be equipped with either a band or disc brake system.The auxiliary brake can be equipped with either an eddy brake or an EATON brake.<\/p>\n
