2HA-2 Pilotair Valve<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Description of Models<\/b><\/span>
\nThe H-2-X Type Controlair Valves <\/b>are handle operated<\/span>
\n4-way, exhausted center, pressure control<\/span>
\nvalves.<\/span>
\nThe typical unit contains two directional control 3-way<\/span>
\nside valves and a pressure graduating portion that is<\/span>
\narranged to increase, decrease or maintain air pressure<\/span>
\nto a separate delivery line. In neutral position,<\/span>
\nboth 3-way side valves exhaust both delivery lines. A<\/span>
\nmovement of 10 degrees either side of center position<\/span>
\nopens the appropriate side valve and directs<\/span>
\npressure to the indicated outlet port. Continued<\/span>
\nmovement past 10 degrees up to full travel, or 46<\/span>
\ndegrees either side of neutral continues to actuate<\/span>
\nthe pressure graduating portion to deliver a graduated<\/span>
\npressure according to the valve of the control<\/span>
\nspring.<\/span><\/p>\n

Models<\/b><\/span>
\nThere are six models with similar valve functions, but<\/span>
\ndifferent handle operating characteristics.<\/span>
\nHD-2-X Controlair Valve <\/b>-Handle is spring returned<\/span>
\nto neutral position from all positions in the handle<\/span>
\ntravel. Some special models exist. See notes on<\/span>
\nIdentity schedule on page 7.<\/span>
\nHD-2-LX Controlair Valve <\/b>– Handle is spring returned<\/span>
\nto neutral position from all positions except at<\/span>
\nthe maximum pressure setting on both sides of center.<\/span>
\nThe handle is held in both extreme positions by<\/span>
\na mechanical detent.<\/span>
\nHD-2-FX Controlair Valve <\/b>– Handle is equipped with<\/span>
\na friction brake that will hold the handle in any position<\/span>
\nselected in the handle travel.<\/span>
\nHD-2-XS Controlair Valve <\/b>– Handle detents in both<\/span>
\nmaximum pressure positions. The handle is spring<\/span>
\nreturned to neutral position from all other positions in<\/span>
\nthe handle travel. Graduated pressure to port (8) is<\/span>
\nonly delivered in one direction of the handle movement.<\/span>
